Background
The RedOctane X-Plorer was released in 2007 and was bundled with the Guitar Hero II for the Xbox 360. The controller is based on a Gibson Explorer, an electric guitar from 1958. The original Guitar Hero is based on a Gibson SG. The X-Plorer was previously bundled with the Guitar Hero III for the PC.
Identification
This device can be identified by the white body with sharp angles and a long black neck.
The controllers with the model numbers of 95065 and 95055 were recalled by Activision due to unresponsive whammy bars.
