Ematic EGQ307 Troubleshooting

If your Ematic will not hold a charge or is dead, the battery might be drained. Charge your Ematic, by plugging it into your computer or AC adapter. Your Ematic should begin to charge its battery. Your battery may have become "flattened" to where it can't accept charge from the wall charge. Try trickle charging your tablet from a low voltage connection. Trickle charging is where you charge the battery at much lower voltage than normal. Lithium based batteries are known to be highly sensitive to overcharging, which may prevent the battery from holding charge. A low voltage charge can be a PC USB port, or a low powered phone charger. Try to trickle charge for 8 to 10 hours.

The touchscreen can come loose and no longer connect properly with the motherboard. This can happen when the tablet becomes jostled or handled roughly. If your screen is blank and has no signs of damage or distortion, the problem may be software related. Make sure your Android OS is up to date. If necessary, try doing a Factory Reset, but make sure to back up any important files first.
