Background
The ASUS ROG Spatha X is a wireless gaming mouse designed to meet the demands of MMO gamers. It was introduced to the world in June 25th 2021. It offers dual mode connectivity, allowing users to switch between wired USB-C and wireless 2.4 GHz modes. The mouse features 12 programmable buttons, a 19,000-dpi optical sensor, and a 1000 Hz polling rate in both connection modes. Additionally, its design includes a thumb and pinky rest.
The Spatha X battery offers up to 67 hours of gameplay on a full charge with RGB lighting turned off. For quick recharges, a 15-minute charge via USB-C or the magnetic charging dock delivers up to 12 hours of wireless gaming
Identification
The ASUS ROG Spatha X can be distinguished from the original Spatha by its marginally decreased weight, and the use of a more flexible charging cable with a USB-C connector, instead of the original Spatha's cable (a micro-USB connector). It also has a much higher maximum CPI and much lower click latency. One of the standouts features of the ROG Spatha X is the metal base frame. The mouse utilizes ROG Micro Switches with a 70-million-click lifespan. It also includes exclusive push-fit switch sockets, allowing users to customize click resistance and extend the device's longevity.
