The Huawei Union will not charge when plugged into a charger or begins losing charge faster than previously observed.
Charging Port is Obstructed
Check to see if there is any visible obstruction in or around the charging port, such as dirt or lint. Try to wipe the area with a soft cloth or blow air into the port to remove any debris that may interfere with charging the phone.
Charger Cord is Faulty
Attempt to charge another device with the same charger, If the other device does not charge, then try using another Micro-USB charger.
Charging Port is Faulty
If you have eliminated the charger cord as the cause of the problem, the charging port itself may be faulty. To replace the Micro-USB charging port you must replace the phone's motherboard. To do so, follow this guide.
Defective Battery

Phone Won't Turn On
The Huawei Union will not power on when the power button is pressed.
Phone Needs to be Charged
The phone's battery may be completely drained or does not have enough power to turn on the phone. If the phone begins charging normally, its battery was just low on power. Otherwise, the phone's charging port, charging cord, or the battery may be faulty. You may refer to the troubleshooting heading Phone Won't Charge or Loses Charge Quickly for these issues.
System Malfunction
If the phone’s battery is working and charged, then the phone’s system program may be experiencing a malfunction, which should simply require a reboot. To do this, press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously until the Android image appears on the screen. You should now see a menu which you can navigate using the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons. Select the “reboot system now” option and your phone should restart.
Screen is Damaged
When trying to reboot, if the Android image does not appear, your phone’s display may be damaged or faulty. You may try to call the phone from another device to see if it rings, which would indicate that your screen is not working. To replace the screen, follow this guide.
Phone is Slow or Will Not Download Apps and Save Pictures
The Huawei Union is sluggish when performing actions or cannot save new media to its storage.
Operating System is Out of Date
When new system updates are released for a phone, any new content becomes optimized for that update and may cause older apps to run slow. If your operating system has not been updated for a long time, then your phone may not be able to even download new apps. To update your phone:
1. From the home screen, swipe down the Status bar.
2. Tap the Shortcuts tab, and then tap the Settings icon.
3. From the All tab, scroll to and tap System update.
4. Tap Update Huawei software.
5. Tap Check for updates.
6. If an update is available, follow the prompts to install the update.
Your phone should now update itself.
Apps are Out of Date
If an app has not been updated for a while it may begin to run slow or crash. To update your apps, go to the Google Play Store app and use the Menus to navigate to Apps & Games. Any app that needs an update will have an indicator on them.
Storage is Full
If a phone’s storage is too full, it may function slowly or not function at all. You will also not be able to save any new media to your phone, such as apps, photos, or music. To clear up space on your phone you can open the Settings app, tap the Device option, and then open Storage. You can then delete any files or apps that you feel are unnecessary or unused.

Look at the camera lens panel on the back of the phone and check if there are any visible cracks or smudges. If you see smudges, try to clean them off with a soft cloth.
