The Wheels Are Stuck
The wheels aren’t turning when the throttle is pressed down.
The Scooter Hasn’t Been Pushed before the Throttle is Engaged
The throttle won’t engage if the scooter is at a complete standstill. Give the scooter a push with your foot, then press down on the throttle in order to get the throttle to engage.
The Scooter Hasn’t Been Powered On
If the screen display isn’t displaying speed, the scooter isn’t powered on. Hold down the blue power button until the display turns on to power the scooter on.
The Battery Doesn’t Hold Charge
If the display indicates that the battery isn’t holding charge, consider replacing the battery.
The Throttle Lever is Faulty
If the scooter still isn’t responding to throttle input, examine the wires that connect the throttle lever to the motor. Make sure none of the wires have visible damage. A damaged wire replacement guide can be found here.
The Motor is Defective or Not Receiving Power
If your scooter wheels still aren’t receiving power, check your motor. Make sure the wires running to the motor are receiving power. If they are, but your scooter wheels still aren’t turning, consider replacing the motor.
The Wheel(s) are Defective or Non-Functional
If your battery and throttle are functional, and your wheels still aren't turning use our front wheel replacement guide or our back wheel replacement guide to replace your wheel(s).
The Headlight Doesn’t Turn On
The headlight beam will not power on or appears to be cracked.
The Scooter Hasn’t Been Powered On
If the display isn’t on, the scooter hasn’t been powered on. The headlight will not shine if the scooter hasn’t been powered on. Hold down the blue power button on the display to get the scooter to power on. Press the blue power button twice, in quick succession, in order to get the headlight to shine.
The LED is Damaged or Faulty
A cracked headlight or damaged LED can cause the headlight not to shine. If your LED is damaged or faulty, consider replacing the LED. LED replacement guide can be found here.
The Battery Doesn’t Hold Charge
If the display indicates that the battery isn’t holding charge, consider replacing the battery.
The Folding Mechanism Doesn’t Work
The scooter main stem remains locked and won’t fold.
The Lock Release Hasn’t Been Pressed
The Hover-1 Eagle features a safety lock, which holds the stem in place when the scooter is unfolded. In order to refold the scooter, press the blue lock release mechanism, located at the bottom of the stem near the front wheel.
The Scooter Doesn’t Remain Folded
If the scooter stem doesn’t remain folded in parallel with the base, check that your scooter handles are hooked to the base. The Hover-1 Eagle features a hook by the display screen that needs to be hooked onto the back safety brake in order for the scooter to remain folded.
The Folding Hinge or Lock Release is Sticky
Make sure there is no debris blocking the hinge or lock release. If there is no debris, but either mechanism is still sticky, consider applying a lubricant, such as WD-40.
The Kickstand Doesn’t Support Itself
The kickstand buckles under weight and doesn’t support itself or the scooter.
The Kickstand isn’t Fully Extended
Make sure the kickstand is in a fully extended, vertical position before releasing it to stand on its own. A kickstand that is not fully extended can buckle and cause the scooter to fall.
The Kickstand is Too Short or Appears to Be Broken
A kickstand shorter than two inches in length can cause the scooter to topple, even if fully extended. If your kickstand mechanism looks to be considerably less than two inches in length due to damage or defective manufacturing, consider replacing your kickstand. A kickstand replacement guide can be found here.
The Kickstand is Wobbly
The pin that connects the kickstand to the scooter can become loose, broken, or defective, causing the kickstand to wobble and be unstable. If your kickstand is wobbly or your pin appears damaged, consider replacing the pin.
The Kickstand is Sticky or Won’t Extend
If your kickstand is sticky or has trouble extending fully, consider applying a lubricant such as WD-40 to the kickstand pin and hinge.
The Brakes Aren’t Functional
The scooter does not slow down when brakes are engaged.
The Brake Pads Are Worn Out
Check your brake pads. If your brake pads are worn out, consider replacing them with this.
The Brake Lever is Faulty
If you have checked/replaced your brake pads and your brake lever still isn’t stopping the scooter, your brake lever is faulty. A faulty brake lever can be replaced using this guide.

@Wanda, that sounds like the same problem mine is having except it won’t turn on for me. After light use for a month I pushed off and went 5 meters up the road and my scooter went off and it felt like something was rattling round in the front wheel and now the wheel is stiff. The scooter won’t turn on. I’ve tried and tried to get a replacement front wheel but parts in the UK is like finding a needle in a nationwide haystack.

Good afternoon. I would like to ask for some help with my Hoover-1 electric scooter. It suddenly started to have a `jumping/bumping` movement of the front wheel (as if the brakes were locked up). The control panel turns on but the scooter doesn`t run. Also, the scooter shuts down after I try to accelerate or brake during movement (no issues with control panel while immobile - brake lights respond appropriately). Is it the motor or a short circuit? (all wires seems to be ok) Or is the braking system malfunctioning? Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?

Out of no where One day I realized that the “charging light” to their special, specifically made Hover-1 Eagles’s “charger” failed to even turn on…… But I didn’t think twice about it until after the fact since when I pressed the power button it showed that there was a full charge so I left and went about my ways it wasn’t until the next morning after I had it plugged in for the night that I realized it would no longer charge.. please help

Idk if it helps or not but I just bought one of the hover 1 eagle 2.0 guy said it would not turn on or do any thing after close inspection I found myself at the bottom of the handle bars where it folds it seem like the metal wire was messed up and the wires was messed up and a few completely broke in two I took some solder and one by one fixed the wires and was able to get lights to come on and the dash the same way and finally got all wires solder and fix(a couple of them had to add a jumper wire because of the wire be cut to short) now it comes on and goes still gotta figure out what nosie from tire is and how to fix it and back back but I wasn't wasting time with trying to get a hold of support hopefully this helps someone if need and walk walking thru what or how I did email my at tommyhensley39@gmail.com have a good day
