Computer Won't Power On
The laptop will not power on and/or shows no signs of powering up.
Faulty Battery
A faulty battery may cause many issues in the bootup and may even cause problems with the system not turning on. If this is the case, look into purchasing a new battery and replacing it.
Charger Not Working
This is a simple one, but even the simple ones might help. Try a different charger or check to make sure the cord is securely in the port and nothing is clogging the port from activating the charger.
Motherboard Not Working
Even with a cable plugged in, the system still refuses to start. The battery has been tested and is known to work as well as the port used. If this is your case, possibilities may include replacing the motherboard.
Keyboard/Keys Not Responding
The keyboard or keys on the keyboard are missing, broken, or unresponsive.
Keys Unresponsive or Stuck in Place
If a specific key/keys fail to work or cannot be pressed, there may be something underneath the key(s) tampering with it. To fix this, remove the key and inspect the area. Sufficiently clean the area and snap the key back into place
Keys Are Missing
If the entire key(s) are missing, replace specific keys as needed by popping them out and snapping the new ones into place.
Faulty Keyboard
If the entire keyboard fails to work, the whole thing is likely to need to be replaced.
Short Battery Life
Computer is shutting down soon after unplugging from the charger.
Not Charging for a Long Period of Time
One sign that a battery is dying is that it either takes a long/short time to charge and usually won't last longer than a few minutes to one hour away from the charger.
Is There an Application that you are Running that Drains the Battery?
Some modern applications demand a lot from your system, if you have had this device for a long time, the components could be working harder to keep up with the software updates. Try updating your current operating system, or try another.
Old Battery
As time goes on, batteries will lose their capacity and naturally need to be replaced every few years.
Volume/Power buttons unresponsive
Trouble listening to or hearing sounds due to button malfunction.
Dust and Dirt Buildup
With normal wear and tear, the device can trap all kinds of dust and grim, this can get Between the button and cause it to stop working. Check to make sure that the space between the button(s) has no obstruction. If blockage appears, use a can of compressed air to remove anything that is in the way.
Worn Out Buttons
Over time, even buttons have an amount of times it can be pressed. If so, these Buttons will become less effective at their job and will eventually need replacing.
Power and Volume Board Problem
The board that accepts the volume and power button inputs has either become disconnected or has failed and will need to be replaced if so. Check to make sure that all connectors are in their appropriate spots.

If you’ve tested the board and it still isn’t working, you may need to replace it.
Unable to find boot device
The computer does not load an Operating System and/or an error message comes up.
System Battery has Died
Most systems have a battery located directly on the motherboard, this battery like most can die on older computers. If this is the case, your boot order within BIOS has been reset.
Boot Partition is Corrupted
RAM replacement installation is needed if not enough RAM or bad RAM will be noticeable through error messages, beeps, or crashes
Storage has Fallen Out of Place
Although it is not common for M.2 SSDs to come loose, you may want to reseat the drive back in its slot, in hopes of it coming back to activity.
SSD card is Faulty
If the card has become damaged or corrupted it may need to be replaced.
