I can’t release my bonnet catch and open my bonnet.
The release cable is detached from the release mechanism and I can’t open the bonnet to rectify this. How can I open the bonnet? 1995 Jaguar XJ8 sport.

I put it back in Park and get a noise for a short bit that sounds like it is rolling as it goes into Park and noise stops. I can still push car forward and backwards even though it's in Park ? Help Thank You . . .

Starts fine when cold but when warmed up it needs to crank a long time before starting but then runs fine. I replaced the front pressure regulator and injectors and it had no affect on it starting when warmed up. Otherwise the car runs great. What can I check next?

2002 Jaguar X-Type AWD has the hood/bonnet stuck in the locked position. The interior release lever will release the passenger side but the driver side will not budge. Removing the driver side wheel well liner and turning the steering wheel all the way to the right reveled some things that allude to the possibility of a manual method to release the hood that doesn't require any cutting or drilling through the hood and making things much worse and costly. Any help would be great, as I have exhausted myself online, and watching YouTube videos of this particular problem in languages that are just too much to understand, and video quality that's lacking aren't helping. To put it mildly.

Two friends who own GT400's: 1. 1996 Chevrolet K1500 4WD Suburban; and 2. 1999 Chevrolet K1500 4WD Suburban. They are wondering about options for larger tires corresponding suspension lifts. Specifically, they are looking at the following three tire sizes: 1. 255/75R-17; 2. 285/70R-17; and 3. 285/75R-17. QUESTIONS: 1. What suspension lift is required for each of these three tire sizes? 2. Will a 4" suspension lift work for any OR all of the three tire sizes? 3. Is any inner or outer fender well trimming required for these three tire sizes and a 4" suspension lift? 4. Is a body lift required in combination with the 4" suspension lift? If so, 1" or 2" body lift? 5. Are torsion bars and or drive shaft modifications required? 6. Any other modifications required for the above mentioned tire sizes and 4" suspension lift?

Behind the mechanical keyboard is a sheet of frosted plastic which embedded within it are a collection of tiny LED’s which hopefully illuminate the sheet evenly that then passes the light outwards thru holes in the mechanical keyboard into the discrete key and the letter or symbols are lit.
So … a liquid spill can affect this sheet with a deposit of material which light is prevented from exiting outwards. It’s also possible one or more LED’s have failed as well.
So to gain access to the sheet one needs to remove the logic board as we don’t have a guide for you system you’ll need to follow as best as you can this guide MacBook Pro 13" Touch Bar 2019 Logic board Replacement there are differences but it’s very close to the same process.
Now looking at the upper case we see a sizable black sheet covering the keyboard area, carefully unglue the edge and the keyboard cable which passes through it, you should then be able to lift it out this assembly this is the backlight unit. If you just had a spill then cleaning the other side should remove what is blocking of the light, otherwise you’ll need to replace it.
This is where things get costly! As Apple doesn’t offer the sheet as a replaceable SKU. You might find it offered as a used part where someone has parted out a system, otherwise it’s a new upper case assembly! MacBook Pro 13" (A2289, A2338, 2020) Upper Case Assembly

I have a MacBook Air m1, and got the same problem after a battery replacement . any updates on the subject please ? how did you resolve the issue ?
although I'm thinking that the chip that is responsible for light distribution to the backlight is been defective , or maybe the new battery is the cause
