Pull up on the SATA power cable connector to disconnect it.
Unplug the SATA data cable connector by depressing its locking tab and pulling straight up on the connector.
Remove the SATA cable from the logic board assembly to get it out of the way and prevent it from being damaged.

Yeah, it's tricky on that cable. I watched a Snazzy Labs video on upgrading the i5 to an i7 (which left out lots of stuff, thank goodness for this guide and you folks), and in that video he mentioned that you might or might not find the cable inside your mac, so I went ahead and ordered one, and of course, one was in my computer, despite that it had an SSD in it. Was it because it was an upgraded SSD? I dunno. But I'm certainly sorry you had to deal with that, especially as while the difficulty isn't too high on this one, there's SO. MANY. STEPS.

Ich denke darüber nach, das Logicboard meines SE2020 im Originalgehäuse durch ein Logicboard des SE2022 zu ersetzen. Ich würde auch den ursprünglichen 2022-Homebutton mit passender Touch ID, einen neuen se 2022-Akku und den 2022 Lautsprecher wechseln, da diese beiden Teile neben dem Homebutton für die Reparatur entscheidend sind. Übersehe ich hier etwas oder wird das höchstwahrscheinlich gut funktionieren?⏎
Ich habe gehört, dass die Taptic-Engine möglicherweise schlecht funktioniert, wenn sie nicht mit ihrem OG-Logicboard gekoppelt ist, und dass die Truetone-Funktion aufgrund des nicht gekoppelten Displays verloren geht, aber es macht mir nichts aus, diese Funktionen zu verpassen.⏎

hello, I recently acquired a 2015 MacBook pro for cheap. it had no ssd or charger and a damaged screen. I currently have also a 2013 MacBook pro with a screen that works properly, could I use the screen from my 2013 and install it on the 2015? both are 15” retina displays

I mistakenly installed a 2015 a1502 screen onto a 2013 a1502 bottom. All is working well with all the functions.

Anytime I insert an SD card into this camera, the screen states “Memory card requires formatting”. Out of the two options displayed, I would select continue, and it would procees to load, then return to the screen that said the card requires formatting. If i choose to cancel when the screen says “Memory card requires formatting”, it says “Memory card cannot be read —(please format memory card or insert another memory card.)”. I’ve cleared the card completely and even tried a brand new card, as well as a micro SD with an adapter. Both cards are 32 GB; please help, i really want to take vintage photos with this camera!!! ☺️

heyy i had this same problem and got it fixed.
Its very simple, all you gotta do is format the card to NTFS (should work with MacOS and Windows) I think mine was exFAT and thats why it didnt work.
