Troubleshooting
If you are having difficulties with the Flip Video Ultra, try referring to the troubleshooting page.
Background and Identification
The Flip Video Ultra (which was released in 2007) is a tape less camcorder by Pure Digital Technologies. It uses two-gigabit internal storage to store videos and pictures. Powered by two AA batteries, the camera is capable of recording at 640x480 at 30 frames per second. This predates the Flip Video Ultra HD which brought the series into High Definition. The camera required a 3ivx codec software for the video player which was replaced with an HDMI cable, in later models, to stream directly to the TV. The standard model came in black and white while later models retained the white but swapped the black for orange.
