First there are two versions of the A1342, this guide is for the White poly case models, so make sure this is correct.
Next there are two versions of the logic board the 2.26GHz and 2.4GHz. To confuse you even more only the 2.4 model offers 16GB of RAM support over 8.0GB limit of the other board.
