If your Logitech UE Megaboom 4 doesn’t power on, it could be for a number of reasons. Here are some relatively easy troubleshooting steps you can take to solve the issue.
Faulty Charger Cord
Your charger cord could also be the problem. The Logitech UE Megaboom 4 uses a USB-C charger cord. Swap cords with the one you were using to a different one and see if that works.
Faulty Charging Block
Similar to the charging cord, it could be the wall adapter block that could be not working. Swap out the block you have been using with a different one that is compatible with the cord you are using. Then try plugging that into your cord and into the wall. Finally plug into your device and let it charge.
Faulty Outlet
The outlet that your device is plugged into could not be working. First try checking the breaker on your breaker panel within your household to ensure nothing has tripped. Then if that doesn't work, try a different outlet. If that doesn't work, refer to the "Faulty Charging Block" or "Faulty Charging Cord" paragraphs as those could be the issues.
Dirty Charging Port
Your charging port may just be dirty! To clean it, you should first make sure your device is completely powered off. Then, you could use a can of compressed air to blow out any dust, sand, and dirt debris. To be even more thorough, after using the compressed air, use a cotton swab dampened with isopropyl alcohol to clean out anything that may be stuck onto the sides. Be sure not to use water as that will ruin the device. Follow this guide for detailed instructions on cleaning a charging port safely. The guide is for a different device, but the process is the same.
Faulty Battery
If you've had the device for a while and charged it many times, the battery may have come to the end of life. Follow this battery replacement guide if it's time to replace the battery in your Logitech UE Megaboom 4.
Damaged Charging Port
If you've cleaned the charging port and the battery has charging cycles left, the charging port could be damaged. Follow this guide to replace it.
Damaged Power Button
If the battery is fairly new, and you've ruled out that the charger, outlet, charging block, and port are clean and working, the device may have a damaged power button. Follow this Logitech UE MegaBoom 4 Power Button Replacement guide if you need to replace it.
