Loose Headphone in Port

Device Requires a Restart

Ensure that the USB cable is undamaged and free from dirt and debris on both ends. Also, try other micro USB cables. Make sure you’re using the appropriate cable and charging adapter for your device.
Dirty or Obstructed Charging Port
The device’s charging port itself may be obstructed by dirt, dust or other debris. Take a compressed air canister and blow the air into the charging port until port is free of debris. DO NOT STICK ANY OBJECT INTO THE CHARGING PORT AS THIS MAY DAMAGE THE PINS OF THE CHARGING COMPONENT.
Damaged Charging Port

Fingerprint Scanner Doesn’t Register
Device fails to unlock after using fingerprint I.D. to gain access.
Water Damage
Electronics & Water Don’t Mix. Water will sometimes cause reading errors for the fingerprint scanners. If your device has been in contact with water, remove the battery and allow it to air dry in room temperature environment for at least two days. If symptoms persist, it is likely that the fingerprint reader/scanner is damaged and needs to be replaced. To replace the fingerprint scanner check out this (guide).
Chipped Surface Coating on Fingerprint Scanner
Scratches may over time cause micro-cracks on the coating of the fingerprint scanner, which results in the component becoming dysfunctional. This calls for a new fingerprint scanner replacement. Check out the (guide) on how to replace it.
Microphone Doesn’t Transmit Voice on Phone Calls
Callers can hear calls but are not able to transmit voice.
Microphone Blockage
Unintentional blockage of the microphone is very common. Please check if there is anything blocking microphone while you use the microphone such as your finger, phone case, or screen protector. Additionally, the device has a port for the input of voice that can be blocked by foreign matters. Build up of dirt or debris may prevent the microphone from receiving proper sounds. To resolve this, simply use a small pin, thin needle, or a brush to remove dirt.
Overworking Device
Sometimes the device fails to transmit signals due to overworking. Too much data running in the background of the device may cause the device to not work properly. Try closing out all apps that are running in the background. If symptoms persist, try restarting or factory reset the device.
Third-party Apps Interference
Certain apps can interfere with the functionality of your microphone. If you noticed a microphone issue after installing an app, try uninstalling it. If you are unsure due to multiple apps installed at once, set your device safe mode on and try to use the microphone. Safe mode will only allow default apps to run in the background so you may notice if any installed app is to be the cause. If you cannot specify which newly installed app causes the issue, you may need to uninstall all of the new apps one by one or do a factory reset.
Damaged Microphone
Dropping your device on hard surfaces or water may cause microphone damage. In water damage cases, the water can cause certain components like the microphone to be fried when attempting to use while wet. Therefore, you should remove the battery immediately and let dry at room temperature for two days before powering the device back on. If the microphone fails to transmit, you will have to replace the microphone. To replace the microphone check out this (guide).
