Device Will Not Charge
The Deebot D35 will not show any signs of charging or powering on.
Device Power is OFF
If the device does not show signs of power, check the bottom of the Deebot. Locate the power switch and set to the the ON position. If the power switch is already in the ON position change the switch to the OFF position and manually dock it to the charging station. After three hours attempt to turn on again.
Discharged Battery
The battery is completely discharged. Reactivate the battery. Place Deebot on the charging dock by hand, remove after charging for 3 minutes, repeat 3 times, then charge normally.
No Connection With the Charging Dock
Deebot has not made a connection with the charging dock. Be sure that Deebot has made a connection with the charging dock pins. Move the robot manually to make the connection if necessary.
Battery Will Not Hold a Charge
The battery is maintaining a full charge for as long as specified:
Battery Has Been Idle
Battery has not been used in a long time and lost some of it’s capability to hold power. Place the robot on charging dock by hand, remove after charging for 3 minutes; repeat 3 times. Charge normally for 3-5 hours. If device still does not charge the battery may need to be replaced.
Battery Needs to be Replaced
The battery is faulty and is unable to hold charge or be charged. Push tabs on both sides of the battery pack to remove. Insert new battery pack and press until it's fully locked into place.
The guide to removing the battery can be found here: Deebot D35 Battery Replacement Guide
Device is Obstructed and Has Stopped Working
The device is tangled with something on the floor. For example, electrical cords, drooping curtains, area rug fringe, etc.
Obstruction and Entanglement
The Deebot D35 has encountered an obstacle and stopped the device from functioning correctly. Turn the device off. Gently lift the Deebot D35 and remove any obstacles such as power cords, area rugs or curtains in the path of the device to correctly function. If the device still has issues, remove dust bin and filter and remove debris.
One can also clean out the Deebot's vacuum motor.
The guide to removing the vacuum motor can be found here: Deebot D35 Vacuum Motor Replacement Guide
Charging Station Re-Docks Before Cleaning is Finished
If the battery is low, then the Deebot will automatically switch to Return to Charger Mode, and will return to the charging dock to recharge which is normal and no solution is required.
Floor Surface and Room Complexity
The amount of time it takes the Deebot to clean depends on what surface it is working on and/or how complex the room is. If the room is too complex, it may return to the charging station to recharge before completing the cleaning.
Automatic Scheduled Time Issues
The device is having trouble completing its automatically scheduled task on time or completely.
The Scheduling Function is Cancelled
Reset Deebot by pressing and holding the start/pause button for 3 seconds. Set the current time. Once the scheduling has set successfully, the device will beep 3 times and indicator light will turn blow. If the scheduling is cancelled, the device will beep 3 times and the indicator light will turn green.
If necessary, one can remove and replace the Deebot's motherboard.
The guide to removing the motherboard can be found here: Deebot D35 Motherboard Replacement Guide
The Device Power is OFF
Make sure that the device’s bottom power switch is turned on. If the device still does not function replace the device manually on the charging station.
The Device Battery is Low
Keep the device powered on and connected to the charging dock (this will make sure it will have a full battery to work for the next usage).
The Device Suction Blocked/Tangled
Turn the device power off. Clean the dust bin. Clean the Universal Wheel by removing any obstructions/hair tangled around the area. Use a dry cloth to wipe down the Anti-Drop sensors located in the front of the backside of the device. Use a dry cloth to wipe down the charging contacts both on the device and charging dock pins. They are located on the top left and right of the device in between the Universal wheel and and the side brushes. Be sure to wipe the sensor on the charging dock pin as well.

I have a n79 that just goes in circles and stops. Its charged. The only thing i can think of is that we just moved and have no internet/wifi service.

Mine has been doing the same thing.
jesstrav1 -
maybe a front bumper issue, older models buttons can jam on the case inside, newer models lose tension in the spring that returns the button.

Ok for anyone who has similar problem. . Ecovacs said its the brush motor. Sonce they dont have a repair facility if its out if warranty theres no solution but buy a new one. I did that . Now every time i empty the dustbin i conscientiously check to mske sure nothings wound around brush. Also best to run it when you are around and listen for it to get hung up in cords or throw rugs.

Ecovacs DN622-11 is totally dead an will not charge with power switch on or off. No lights, no nothing. Only had it for 2 months warranty just expired, of course! Checked continuity of power switch and it is good. I could not find any fuses on the main board or elsewhere.

My deebotn79w starts automatically at midnight. I have deleted the auto start but three nights in a row I have gotten up in the wee hours to turn it off. I have also done a reset on the unit itself by pressing the auto button until it beeps three times.

When my Deebot goes on the charger the right brush keeps turning and will not stop unless I turn the switch off. Naturally, it will not charge with the switch off.
tallyho8 - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0
My deebot is model DC3G. When I start it it sounds and works fine. About 10 seconds into the cleaning the blower or suction stops and the brushes stop but the vacuum keeps going; not cleaning or picking up anything. I'm not entirely sure how to fix this. I have cleaned brushes, unplugged the battery and plugged it back together, cleaned the sensors. What else can I do so I can get this back to working condition? Havent had it for more than 6 months and use it daily, until recently anyways. Please help!

I have a D35 that I haven’t been used in some time, have lost the manual for it and when I plug it in an place the cleaner on the charger it lights up with all the lights and beeps 4 beeps. What is wrong?
Jimmie guyton - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0
When I had a charge with a customer rep, they told me 4beeps with steady red light means main brush needs some cleaning. Remove the main brush and let it run and see if its still happens to identify the prob.

How do I stop Deebot from coming on automatically
Gail Dime - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0
I am hoping someone might be able to help. Recently my Ecovac moves away from the dock and the status changes to cleaning but then after not even 1 second the status updates back to charging and it goes back to the dock. The battery is charged and full and has been doing this for about a week now. It does the same thing if I tell it to clean in the app, hit the auto button on the vac or the schedule time cleaning.
