Label Maker Not Printing

The print paper is not coming out of the back of the device.

Empty Tape Cassette

If you notice no paper coming out, the cartridge/cassette might be out of paper or damaged. If so, you can look at either the product manual or our guide to replace it.

Plastic Print Roller Lever Piece Broken

Turn your device around, and open the tape cover. Next, push down on the plastic lever directly below the tape cartridge. If the black cylindrical piece on the right does not move, then the connection between the lever and the roller might be disconnected.

Refer to this guide to retrieve and replace the piece.

Unresponsive Motor

If checking and replacing the cartridge and/or the print roller did not fix your problem, it may be a faulty motor. Listen carefully after pressing the print button, if you hear nothing, the problem is most likely with the motor. Refer to this guide to replace it.

Paper Not Being Cut

The cutter is not cutting the paper.

Dull/Missing Cutter

If the scissors are not cutting the paper, go to the product manual or refer to our guide to replace them.

Keyboard Not Working

Nothing happens when the keys are pressed.

Missing Keypad Contacts

When some/all buttons on the keypad don't respond or require too much force, you should replace the keypad. Refer to this guide on how to do so.

Label Maker Will Not Turn On

The display does not work and there is no response when pressing the keys.

Drained Batteries

You will need to replace the batteries when your device does not turn on. Either look at the product manual or check out our guide.

Won’t turn on - also might be the internal cable to the display has become disconnected.

To fix this, remove the back cover, cassette and batteries. Next remove 6 screws and open the case carefully. Check the ribbon cable from the back of the display is securely connected to the the socket on the circuit board. If not, reinsert it and press the retaining clips carefully into place to secure the ribbon cable. Reassemble, reinsert batteries and cassette and try the power switch.
