mitch1965, one end inserts into a receptacle behind the splash shield while the other end connects with clips to the brake pads. There are some great instructions on here. After replacing the sensor, turn the ignition key to the #2 position for around 30 seconds without turning over the engine...the light should now go out! Hope this helps, good luck
