  • Locate the oil filter at the front, passenger side of the oil pan.

  • Place the oil drain pan underneath the oil filter.

  • Unscrew and remove the oil filter by turning it counter-clockwise. If the filter is on too tight to remove by hand, use an oil filter wrench to loosen it.

  • Have plenty of rags on hand, because this is probably the messiest part of the procedure.

  • The oil filter will still have oil in it, so keep the open end facing up until you are ready to pour it out into the oil drain pan.

Localiseer het oliefilter aan de voor- en bijrijderskant van de carterpan.

Plaats de emmer of bak die de olie opvangt onder het oliefilter.

Schroef het oliefilter los door deze tegen de klok in te draaien. Als het filter te strak is vastgedraaid om met de hand te kunnen verwijderen, kun je gebruik maken van een oliefiltersleutel.

Zorg dat je genoeg oude doeken hebt, omdat dit waarschijnlijk het meest smerige deel van de procedure is.

Het oliefilter bevat nog steeds olie, dus zorg dat je het open gedeelte naar boven gericht houdt tot je klaar bent om het in de emmer of opvangbak te gieten.
