Troubleshooting
Fix a number of problems with the Skil 88 Troubleshooting Guide.
Identification and Background
The Skil model 88 drill can be first identified by the information located on the top of it. It should say, "Skil Model 88 standard duty 3/8 in.
Some identifying characteristics are the metal casing, the letters SKIL cut out from the side, and no reverse button (for reverse drill motion). It has a cord to plug into a regular socket and it is 3/8 inch. This model of drill is also very old (Skil stopped manufacturing it in the 1960's), so your drill is probably a little bit weathered.
