Background and Identification
The HMX-F90 Camcorder has a black and silver or white and silver plastic case design with a 2.7” LCD screen that flips out and rotates 270 degrees. Sized at 2.22 x 2.12 x 4.69 inches, the camcorder weighs 0.59 pounds and can either be handheld or mounted on a standard support system such as tripod.
The HMX-F90 camcorder supports 720p video capturing at 30 frames per second, capturing still images at 1600X1200 resolution. The camcorder also includes a setting for a time-lapse recording, which is the ability to pause in mid-recording and then resume recording in one video file. It has a maximum optical zoom of 52X and 130X digital zoom.
The HMX-F90 has no recorded manufacturer recalls. It was released in February of 2013 and discontinued in October of 2013.
