Background:
The Plantronics CS50 Headset was the first model released in November 2003 for use on office phones. The CS50 Headset is a wireless digital headset system manufactured and marketed by Plantronics, Inc. It allows a hands-free work style that increases efficiency and allows the freedom to step away from your desk while speaking on the phone.
The headset can be worn with a headband or an earloop. You can control the volume, mute, make, answer, and end calls from the headset buttons.
Identification:
There are currently a total of four models, CS50, CS55, CS50-USB, and CS70N. The CS50 is the slimmest but not the shortest of all the models. The CS50 is made of gray and silver plastic. It comes with a charging base in the same color combination.
You can identify your Plantronics CS50 Headset by the Plantronics logo printed in white on the lower front of the base unit. The model and serial number are printed on a white label on the bottom of the base unit. The model number is also printed on a label beneath the battery of the headset.
