Background
The Palm Centro is unique in the fact that there is currently only one model of the Centro. Unlike the Treo lineup also released by Palm which has several model numbers such as Treo 750, Treo 755, and 700w, you can identify the Palm Centro simply by its name.
Released in Fall 2007, the Palm Centro is the third in a lineup of phones released by Palm starting with the Treo 755p and the Treo 500v.
It has a 1.3-megapixel camera, Qwerty keyboard, and can be used as a PDA and phone. It runs on the Palm OS 5.4.9 and was one of the last devices to use this operating system before they switched to WebOS. Other features include 64 MB of memory, a microSD card slot that will support up to 8 GB of removal storage, a 1150 mAh Lithium-ion battery, and 320×320 65k color touchscreen. A travel charger and and USB cable are included with the device.
Identification
You can identify the Palm Centro by its small size compared to other Palm products. The name brand Palm is printed on the central button. You can find the model and serial numbers printed on the back of your Palm Centro or under the battery.
