Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing difficulties with your Logitech G733, see the troubleshooting page to diagnose and resolve common problems.
Background
The Logitech G733 is a set of headphones designed with video gamers in mind to help them locate the source of noise in a 3D soundscape. These headphones also have a microphone for verbal communication with other gamers. The Logitech G733 was introduced in 2020 to help move the brand toward colorful, modern designs. This specific pair of headphones is still one of their mainstream gaming options.
The Logitech G733 is unique from some of the other Logitech models because of its slimline RGB lights. It is completely wireless and connects to your computer via a USB receiver that you must plug in to use the headphones. The Logitech G535 is the most similar product in the Logitech lineup because of the exchangeable headbands and modern design, but this model does not come with LEDs, it's almost 42 grams lighter, and the Logitech logo on the side is black instead of silver. The G733 also has a battery life of up to 33 hours and a wireless range of up to 12 meters.
Rtings explains how the Logitech G733 has extraordinary options for software companionship, and the product is customizable, comfortable, has a good battery life, and has a fantastic capability for handling noise. However, the downsides are that it is bulky, isn’t Bluetooth compatible, and has poor noise filtering when it comes to calls. In the end, the Logitech G733 is a good choice for use with the ability to be customized, good battery life, and great software; the only downside is that it is bulky and non-Bluetooth compatible.
Identification
The Logitech G733 headset has a plastic headband with an adjustable elastic strap, plastic ear cups, and plus ear pads. The front edge of the ear cups have RGB lighting, and the Logitech logo is near the center of each cup. "G733" is engraved on the headband, just above the ear cups. The model number (M/N) and part number (P/N) can be found by removing the right ear pad and looking on cup. You can also identify the G733 headset by model number (M/N) A00178, or by its four different part numbers:
- 981-000863 - Black
- 981-000882 - White
- 981-000889 - Lilac
- 981-000942 - Blue
The headphone's serial number (S/N) is printed on the inner, right edge of the headband, under the elastic headband buckle.
