Background
The Pixel Buds 2a were announced in August 2025 as the newest budget alternative to the Pixel Buds Pro 2 (similar to how the "a‑series" Pixel phones are budget alternatives). They keep a similar form factor and sound quality while removing some of the higher-end features of the Pixel Buds Pro 2, although they do now feature ANC. They're the successor to the previous Pixel Buds A-Series earbuds.
The Google Pixel Buds 2a start at $129 USD and are available in either Iris or Hazel colorways.
