The Dewalt Nailer 18 GA Cordless Brad Nailers is a battery powered nail gun. The Dewalt Nailer (model number: DCN680D1) was first released in August of 2017, however the Dewalt cordless 20V MAX-VR line that uses brushless power tools, was first released in 2013. Used for crown molding, casings, kitchen crown, and other decorative moldings, the Dewalt DCN680D1 18 Gauge Brad Nailer can drive 18 gauge brad nails ranging from 5/8 inch nails to 2 1/8 inch nails. Thanks to its 20V MAX lithium-ion battery, it can handle many tasks, big and small, without the use of gas, a hose, or a compressor.

The Dewalt DCN680D1 is yellow in color, weighing 10.25 pounds, 6.3 inches tall, and 11.1 inches long. The micro nose increases line of sight and accuracy. There is tool free depth adjustment, and a tool free jam release for both countersinking nails and nail jams. There is also tool free stall release lever, and a trigger for different modes.
