The Dell Latitude 5490, released in 2018, is part of the Latitude series of laptops. The laptops are known for reliability, durability and business-related features.

The major difference between the Latitude 5490 and other models in the series is the increased number of ports. The Dell Latitude 5490 has a less powerful processor when compared to the later releases of the series.

Even though the Dell Latitude 5490 has not had any recalls, there has been some issues reported by users.
