Bottom cover not flush - clicks/pops

Guys I just picked up the macbook pro retina 15"

The bottom cover on the left side under the thunderbolt port isnt seated flush and pops in and out faintly.

Is this a simple issue where it wasn't lined up properly and screwed in? Or is it something more serious?

Sounds like something is bent or jammed under the lip of the case so it won't seat correctly. I would return the unit to the store you bought it from ASAP to get it exchanged out. You don't want to be stuck with a lemon!
