Where are you getting the image? If it's an HP image (be it the cloud recovery tool on the BIOS on Elite PCs and modern Pro PCs or the Windows app), I ran into this on a 640 G11 - the HP image does not work more often then not, recovery partition or cloud recovery.

If you have 11 Home and do not want to use a MSA this bypass works but you need to get the image, burn it in Rufus then use that to write it: Windows 10/11 - USB Installation Media Creation (Rufus)

I think it was on windows 7 originally which is why it will not accept the updated versions of windows which is either 10 or 11 as the laptop is older
@matt99712 If you got the image from HP, that's unrelated - it's the image. Use the MCT. But if you are bypassing the TPM check, you have to do it with a Rufus drive.
