Missing guides for most of component replacements?
Why is there no guides for components like: fan, logic board, TouchID sensor, USB-C board, audio board, etc.?

The iFixit team like many struggled during COVID so the 2020 & 2021 models are just on the thin side on what they could do from limited office time on less important efforts as they put all their energy into amassing medical equipment repair information to help keep people alive from the throws of COVID worldwide! 👏👏👏
Just take a look at this very sizable effort Medical Devices 90% of this was created due to COVID with many people putting in the effort Introducing the World’s Largest Medical Repair Database, Free for Everyone. Many medical repair staff are thankful for collecting all of this in a centralized place. It was never done before as manufacturers prevented the sharing First Federal Right to Repair Bill Wants to Lift Medical Fix Restrictions During COVID-19 even our State Treasurers pressed for more transparency Five State Treasurers Demand the Right to Repair from Ventilator Makers
But we can't just depend on iFixit teams efforts alone!
If you can help out creating the needed guide. Start off on the easy ones like the fan. To get to the USB-C port assembly or headphone jack assembly you really need to lift the logic board away so I would do the logic board and then the USB-C and Jack assembly removals.
As far as TouchID taking it off is almost pointless! As the button and logic board need to be replaced together as they are tethered to each other. Only if you are swapping the logic board do you need to remove it.

I was removing the logic board and transferring into another chassis that had no damage (the other one had broken screen). Anyways I needed to transfer both logic board and TouchID.
If you check the other models, you will see that there are no guides for 2016-2020 13-inch models, except for one Touch Bar 2018 model. So blaming this on COVID 4 years before it happened, is not rightfully so.
I find it bit weird as those models were most popular and why iFixit decided to to skip them, is out of my knowledge.
@oldnewstuff - I should have also pointed out Apple now offers repair manuals now which likewise would make some of the more complex tasks as a duplication. So rehashing the older models wouldn't be as needed. Apple only offered the M2 version manual but it's basically the same MacBook Pro (13-inch, M2, 2022) Repair Manual
We also need to remember iFixit is not a big company, it's a small outfit with limited manpower.
As for your task swapping the logic board instead of the display which was damaged. Why didn't you use the MacBook Pro 13" Two Thunderbolt Ports Late 2020 Display Assembly Replacement guide instead?
We always encourage people to step up to fill in the blanks.
@danj "We also need to remember iFixit is not a big company, it's a small outfit with limited manpower." with 269 employees according to their own admission. https://growjo.com/company/iFixit $$$ WOW.... As for the CVD we are all sick of it..... lol. Besides, "it' did nothing, the gov restrictions did though.....
@livfe - It’s not that simple and while you (or others) are sick of it, it did effect us and companies greatly. Maybe your country didn’t get hit hard. Just in my state we lost over 20k.
And no 300 people is a small company and different people have different tasks. IFixit is more than the guides.
@oldnewstuff as for the why there are missing guides, we would not know that. We can assume a lot of things but we will only know for sure if the iFixit team tells us those reasons. In the meantime, just use the technician manual for the MBP13 that is now on this page MacBook Pro 13" Two Thunderbolt Ports Late 2020 under the Documents tab. It'll help you with the teardown etc. for the computer you selected.
While you work on your computer, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has a device with the same issues as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
