Anyone know a detailed video on how to clip back the plastic latch on say a keyboard cable or track pads connector? The little thing that you need to clip down..... I can't find one anywhere.... I got 2 that have fallen off and need to get them back on... under a microscope would be perfect. Having difficulty here....

The trick is to bow the latch so you can get the little pins seating in the body of the connector. I find a piece of tape can help here, slide the latch into one side with a piece of tape help holding it in place, then place a small straightened paper clip (or wire) end in the middle to create the bow as you press down on the other end and also slide the paper clip out. The smaller ones are a bit harder.

Yes Dan I kinda know the method but I need to see this close up in detail to get this right..... My magnifying glass isn't up to scratch and it cannot go under the microscope as the post is in the way..... need a clear diagram on it to get it the right way around and the precise location of the holes etc..... I don't wanna break it by doing it with the naked eye.... Hence I was asking for any video on it. Anyway, I tried your method and I successfully broke both of them :) I have some 11" track pads and wondering are the latches the same on these to the 13" They look to be the same.....?
