Lattissima Pro EN750MB - No water from Spout!?!

Had this machine for a number of years. Recently experienced the well-documented leaking from the Extraction Head. I replaced the Head ... produces espresso perfectly now/no leaking. However, now no water comes out of the water spout - so no hot water or frothing. All the hot water is diverted to the tray during this mode. I have tried all the "air pocket" removal techniques ... tried forced air back through the system and it comes out into the drain/tray area.

@oldturkey03 Sorry no. I supposed the solenoid valve, but they seem to work. Last chance: Opening the valve(s) and cleaning/descaling them. When OK, they make a clicking sound. Perhaps we should try a new one, they don't cost too much (about 20€), but you need a 120V version.

MAJOR FRUSTRATION. I have had my machine apart no less than 20 times. I know it quite well. I replaced the solenoid, and it did not correct the issue. I have back-flushed water to bleed air from the system. Somehow in the last version of putting it back together, the button to turn on the water (on the top) is not working. The light turns on, but it does not turn on the water (so I cannot tell if it is even working now or not). It must be, through all of the rounds of taking it apart and putting it back together, that perhaps the plug from the control module to the PCB in the back has worn. I would love a schematic to trace it down. I'm not sure. Almost have given up.

That is sad! I understand that very well, I myself have such a device in the garage and still haven't found the fault. Difficult appliances!

@chrisjohns48962 As far as I know this machine uses a solenoid valve to control the hot water/steam, the same as ECAM. Maybe it is broken or clogged?

If you want to fix it: Find it, first measure its resistance, should be around 2 kOhm. If OK, open it and clean it. (or replace it)

Did you reconnect the (internal) steam output connector to the case (where the frother connects on the ouside)?

Apart from a possible clogged or broken solenoid valve, the line could be clogged anywhere else too.
For example one of the hoses, or the output connector.
Or even the tiny hole in the part which the milk frother connects to the machine with.

I have checked all of these for clogs. The water intended for the frother is ending up in the drip tray - whether steaming milk or using the cleaning cycle. It makes all the appropriate noises … just the water is diverted. I replaced one of the solenoids …. same result. Flipped the solenoids - same result. How do I definitely test the solenoids?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

I have manually checked both solenoids - both work. There are no clogs. ???

I guess the only idea left is to dismantle it piece-by-piece.

In other words: The water is supposed to go from tank to the pump and then finally to the output. In this route, start by disconnecting everything downstream of the pump and check if water still comes out of the open connection.

Then re-add parts piece-by-piece to that route and check each time if water still flows the intended path.

At one time, there will be a part added and the water doesn't flow intended path anymore. Then you have the culprit.
