No power after screen replacement. Please help me find this part!

Block Image

I replaced the screen on a 16” 2019 model, and the last thing I had to do was connect the battery cable to the (7 pin ribbon cable connection on the logic board I believe) and the “pressure” clip broke off so I think that might be the problem. No connection? Where can I find this replacement part?

UPDATE:

Had a buddy microsolder a new one on, and it booted for one second then shut off and now no response. Any ideas? Could it be a bad connection? Or did we just fry the logic board?

You don’t need to replace the full connector, just the latch part. I would try to find it as it can be put back as it’s not uncommon to snap off.

cole Wengender the connector is a Fujikura/DDK FF14A-6C-R11DL-B-3H. You can get it on some places as a single item, others require you to buy at least 10. Do an online search with that number and see what will work for you. Then get yourself a few of those and gently lever one side, then the next side of the lock out of the connector. Transplant that lock to your connector.
