How to change the usb ports

My usb ports are not working so I was looking for a tutorial on how to fix or replace

Sadly, the physical ports are not really replaceable as they are thru-hole mounted and has a sizable shield around them

Your only hope is just replacing the logic board if that is the case. If the UART logic has issues it might be repairable!

You will need access to the schematics and board-views, as well as both a good DVM and digital oscilloscope to dig into the logic to discover what has failed. And lastly good micro-soldering skills to replace the bad components.
