2 battries in and still wont turn on

Hello all!

Iphone 5c model #A1532

Got 2 batteries off of amazon thpught the first one was bad out of the box because it shows a charge of 0.7A and immediatly drops to 0 then back to 0.7A it just repeats this cycle endlessly. Also wont turn on the screen or anything else. I dont have the hardware to test if the battery has charge or not and I also dont have the hardware to check the screen too ensure its not damaged or anything.

Initial problem was the phone would not stay on and also would not boot once battery charged I got it a couple of times enough to back it up but became unreliable.

Figured a new battery would fix it but maybe the Motherboard is dying?

Ill ship it to someone if they want to play with it otherwise comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!

connect to a pc to check if it connects, if not try with only the screen, battery and port connected to rule out other part issues, if none of these work its probably a board issue. if your in the uk i could take a look for you if you like

Ya it doesnt power up at all. But I fugured that's because the battery doesnt work? It acts like the battery isnt even in there. Should it still connect to a PC even with no battery? I have tried connecting ut before and got nothing from it.

I can still send it to you in the UK I dont mind.

@p38sheep - Ebay, Amazon, etc are known for VERY VERY Questionable batteries!
iFixit On the other hand has reputable Parts&guides.

As @tech_ni said If it shows up on a PC We can rule out the other issues...

Honestly I bet it was that it was an amazon battery.

Part: iPhone 5c Battery
Guide: iPhone 5c Battery Replacement

P.S I would be willing to play around with it If you ship it to me or your not willing to fix it

It does sound like a motherboard issue to me personally, but if you can get it to appear on a computer like Ben said then you can rule out that for the most part.
