I replaced the battery on my MacBook Pro screen not working

I replaced the battery on my 15” MacBook Pro w Retina display mid2014 using an ifixit kit and following all the directions. Battery powered up but now the display screen is not working. I went back and checked all the steps and all seems good. Any ideas what it could be?

@scottpask5 - Thats good and bad! Good that we've narrowed down the issues. The bad is you likely did damage something here.

Disconnect the battery as outlined in the guide, then disconnect the display connector and take a picture of the connectors both the logic board and the cable ends so I can see the contacts and post the pics here Adding images to an existing question

The last photo is a connection that there were no instruction to disconnect during guide to replace the battery but obviously became disconnected as I removed the board. What is this connection for?

Jump to Step 22 in the guide that is one of the two speaker cables.
