3 iPhone 5s restoring gives error 2015; screen is broken
I have an iPhone 5 that I got from someone, because he dropped it and the screen broke pretty heavily. Quite a bit of the glass in the top right corner is completely gone. And he couldn't boot it anymore either.
However, I might be interested in fixing it. Question is though, how much do I have to fix?
Current symptoms;
- When I received it, you could turn the phone on, but it wouldn't actually boot. Instead, it would reboot constantly.
- I tried connecting it to my Mac and doing a factory reset on it through iTunes. However, after wiping the system, that fails with an 'unknown error (2015)'. This happens on all my restore attempts.
- Now, connecting it to my computer shows 1) the Apple logo, and then 2) the image asking to connect it to iTunes.

So my question is; does anyone know if just replacing the screen would work?
Or do I have to replace something else as well?

Same here i got the iphone from my sibling he said that the phone turn off and it reboots and even it is charging the iphone reboots the phone has a history of repair the battery was replace and i think the cause is the battery need help

2015 is an error regarding the insufficient charge of your battery to even enter the iOS to charge. Get a new battery.

@me_ravi I have got a new battery and also charged it over night. Yet getting same error 2015. What to do?

So, are you sure that the replaced battery is charged? Just by plugging the iphone with a cable is not called as charging. The itunes logo is not a indication of charging. If you know that it is charged, then it would be a NAND Gate problem. An expert in repairing will so the job. It requires micro level work.
You can know that iPhone is charging under 2 situations.
1. When powered off you will get a battery symbol with or without plug.
2. When powered on you know that. itunes symbol on screen is not charging.
