If you are looking to go with a VESA mount sorry to say Apple doesn't offer the parts. Apple does offer the standard foot as a spare if your's is damaged.

To replace the standard foot will require completely disassembly of the system. This is a very big job! I would recommend you bring your system in to an Apple Store or authorized service center and let them do it as it will be cheaper and less risky.

Well, I might have a lead here of a possible VESA mount kit. Just found this: VESA BACKING PLATE FOR IMAC 21.5" (Apple P/N 923-0419)

I found this stand:

It seems doable, the complete teardown will be a pain and time consuming though.

That should do it! But again its not something I would recommend if you've never opened one of the Thin series systems. Just the process of taking off the display can damage it which would be a very expensive mistake! Follow this guide: iMac Intel 21.5" EMC 2638 Logic Board Replacement

Here's a user submitted guide which will give you a bit more on whats needed: iMac Intel 27" EMC 2639 Stand Replacement The stand is mounted exactly the same way as yours.

I have opened one before, I work on these on a regular basis, but I've never attempted the stand before.

I appreciate your help!

No it's never been done but you might be able to find something that you can do such as take out some screws or some clips from the back of the iMac if not there is no way to replace them and if you find a way please post a repair guide so I can help some of my costumers that have asked the same thing.

If this answer helped please give it a thumbs up .

It is possible to buy a new iMac with a VESA stand: http://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/imac-v...

So maybe if you ask apple, they can switch the stand.

As far as I know, that's your best option.

Sorry Apple won't swap the stand. In this case it looks like Amber only wants to replace the damaged foot stand Vs altering it to a VESA.
