Spanned screw, how to remove them?

Hello I was following the guide for updating my mid 2012 13" Mbp to a dual drive when I spanned the screw of the optical drive due to a lack of space between the screwdriver and the optical drive itself.

Any tips of how to remove them?

What do you mean by 'spanned'?? Did you break off the head of the screw or did you strip-out the head so a screwdriver can't turn the screw? Also did you use the correct screwdriver?

Jesus that's a late reply by my side thought nobody ever replied.

Head of the screw was broken. Yes I used the right screwdirver but both screws closer to the outer edge of the laptop got borken. Got to buy a dremel to remove them.

Thanks!
