The tablet does not respond to touch; display remains the same.
Too Many Apps Open
The more apps you have open and running, the slower the device will run. Enter the application settings to disable or “kill” applications to free up processor and memory resources.
Operating System Is Frozen
Sometimes restarting the device is necessary. Turn the device off, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on using the power button. It may be necessary to hold the power button down for several seconds.
As a last resort, you can perform a “hard” or factory reset. Warning: this will cause you to lose all data that has not been backed up. The tablet will be restored to the way it was when it was originally purchased. To perform a factory reset, follow these steps:
- Make sure the tablet is powered off and charged.
- Hold down the volume [+] button and the power button at the same time.
- When the screen comes on, let go of the power button only.
- When the large Android appears on the screen, let go of the [+] button.
- For the next few steps, use the volume [+] and [-] buttons to scroll up & down and tap the power button to select.
- Scroll down and select “wipe data/factory reset”.
- Scroll down and select “Yes -- delete all user data”.
- Select “reboot system now”.

- Hold down the volume [+] button and the power button at the same time.

Short Battery Life
Battery does not maintain charge for long periods of time.
Settings Are Draining Battery
Certain settings can improve battery life. Consider the following suggestions:
- Turn the Wi-Fi off when you are not connected to a network or when you do not need internet access.
- Reduce the brightness level on the screen.
- Utilize power saving modes whenever possible.
Battery Is Broken
Perhaps the best solution to a reduced battery life is to replace the battery.
Battery Was Not Properly Cared For
While short battery life is only “fixable” by replacing the battery, there are several preventative measures that can be taken in order to help maintain battery capacity. Consider the following:
- Maintain proper operation of the battery (e.g., not overcharging, crushing, puncturing, and keeping the device free of excessive heat and moisture).
- Protect the device from exposure to temperatures above 140° F.
- Avoid usage of the device while it is charging.
Tablet Won't Connect to The Internet
Tablet is unable to access the internet; apps requiring internet connection do not work.
Wi-Fi Setting Is Not Turned On
Double check that the Wi-Fi connection on your tablet is turned on by going into “settings” and finding the Wi-Fi setting. If it is not already on, then flip the switch to “on”.
You Do Not Have Access To The Router
Typically, a Wi-Fi connection requires a wireless hotspot. Some hotspots have privacy settings that only allow certain devices to access the connection. If the router is not yours and you cannot connect to it, you either need to obtain the password or router number. Otherwise, you will be unable to connect to the internet.
Software Is Out of Date
Make sure that you have the most up-to-date software. You can try to update the system by going into the device settings and checking for any pending updates. If you are unable to update the device, consider downloading a third party app that can do it for you. Be careful about which app you decide to use, as sometimes the updates from third parties may not be virus free.
Tablet Won't Make Bluetooth Connections
Device is unable to connect with other devices through Bluetooth.
Bluetooth Is Not On
It is possible to accidentally turn off the Bluetooth connection on your tablet. To turn it back on, go into “settings”, navigate to the Bluetooth section, and flip the switch to “on”.
Device Is Not Pairing Correctly
Make sure both the tablet and the device you are trying to connect to are in discoverable mode.
Cache Is Full
If you still cannot connect, delete your Bluetooth profile and to go Settings>Apps>All>Bluetooth>Clear Cache. Restart the device and make a new profile.

DO NOT TAP OR HIT THE TABLET. These electronic devices are not "fan or motor" controlled so hitting the device should not be done. It can cause major damage to the device! We had a customer that kept beating on their tablet, shaking it, blowing in charger hole (which does nothing) and trying to sqeeze the screen. The only thing this does is make it worse. You HAVE to reset the device or clear data.
