Okay, these buttons respond, but...each button below VARS does not respond on press but DO upon release, although they act as if VARS was pressed. Upon pressing these keys for some time, other keys will become inactive until you press "normal" keys enough times (usually 2-5 times) The TI Connect says my battery level is "good," and I'm not quite sure this is a key-circuiting problem. Any advice?

*Update*
I made a program to test what "key" the calculator is receiving (Getkey->A ; VARS = 44)
indeed, each key below VARS responds with 44, and sometimes, like mentioned above, don't register as "pressed" if i pressed a broken key repeatedly. Update: sometimes, other keys are regarded as VARS after pressing the broken keys, and sometimes even act as if VARS was pressed twice; other keys still function as normal, otherwise.

I press "On" and the entire screen turns a darker color, but nothing else appears when I touch the buttons. When I touch 2nd "Off", the screen goes back to light color as usual.

Every button works except the clear button. It’s not stuck or anything, I changed the batteries and reset the thing. Any suggestions?

Hi… um my TI-30xs Multiview calculator ink exploded while it was in my pencial pouch I believe. now there it is a purple heart towards the right of the screen with a pinkish purplish outline. I can barely see the answers to the questions. Does anyone have any solutions or will I have to buy a new calculator?
P.S The heart thing is inside the screen not outside I checked, so I am pretty sure nothing it my pencil puch caused this also, there are 3 large scratches where the heart shape is.

my daughter’s TI-83 plus has an issue with the numbers that are entered onto the screen will fade out as it is being used. we have tried replacing the back up battery , we tried clearing the RAM and we tried increasing the brightness tips. it continues to do the same thing every time. is there something else that would make the numbers start out fine, but as we add more numbers and rows it fades out and then disappear?

I had a blue wiggly line show up on the screen. It's not on the surface so I'm assuming it is on the inside of screen. Calc turns on and off and regular functions work. What do I do from here? Already changed batteries…

My ti-83 plus turns on but the screen is all black. I tried trying to adjust the contrast on it but does not do anything. I replaced the batteries ect. Not sure what would cause the screen to be just black. It’s fully colored not glitchy just all black.

My TI 83 Plus Silver edition seemed to have a ram problem on self test. The first display on the “ram test” seemed to show the amount of clear ram or so. If you press [on] it moved straight to the display test and otherwise functioned normally. It turns out, if you press [clear] at the first ram display, it goes to 0 and the test then functions as described.
