Flashing Led Lights
A green light will blink after you turn your SwagTron on.
SwagTron Not Calibrated
The hoverboard could not be calibrated correctly. To calibrate the hoverboard, power it off first. Place it on a flat surface and ensure both sides are level as well (you can use a carpenter's level to be precise). Hold down the power button for 10 seconds and you should hear a beep, and led lights should start flashing. Once they do, press the power button again so that the SwagTron is off. Turn it back on, and your SwagTron should be calibrated.
Broken Wheel/Wheels
Four blinks of the led means the wheel opposite the side the battery is on is damaged and needs to be replaced. If there are five blinks, then the wheel on the same side of the battery needs to be replaced. Here is a replacement guide on how to replace a damaged wheel.
Damaged Gyroscope
Seven or eight flashes of the LED indicate that the gyroscope inside the hoverboard is defective or damaged, and may need to be replaced. Here is a guide on how to replace the gyroscope.
SwagTron Won’t Turn On
You press the power button over and over but your SwagTron never turns on.
Battery Not Charged
Your SwagTron has a Li-Ion battery inside that has to be recharged. Plug your SwagTron into the charger for 2-3 hours and it should be fully charged and ready to ride. If you don’t have a charger, you can buy one here.
SwagTron Won’t Charge
You plug your SwagTron into the charger for hours, but it never charges the battery.
Broken Charger
Your charger may be broken or faulty, you will need to buy a new charger here.
Dead Li-Ion Battery
Your SwagTron has a Li-Ion battery inside that over time loses its “juice” and is no longer able to power your hoverboard. Here is a guide on how to replace that battery and keep riding.
SwagTron Balance is Off
My SwagTron is not responding to my movements the way it should be.
Hoverboard not calibrated
The hoverboard could not be calibrated correctly. To calibrate the hoverboard, power it off first. Place it on a level surface and hold down the power button for 10 seconds and you should hear a beep. Led lights should start flashing, and once they do you should go ahead and press the power button so that the SwagTron is off. Once you turn it on, your SwagTron should be calibrated.
SwagTron is Not in Self-balancing Mode
The SwagTron has an automatic self-balancing mode when it is turned on. To make sure the self-balancing mode is on, move the hoverboard to a flat area and wait a few minutes. After a few minutes stand on the hoverboard with two feet and make sure that there are no other objects that could possibly unbalance the board. Always try and avoid riding the hoverboard sideways and turning on slopes because doing so can cause the self-balancing sensors to be defective.
Damaged Gyroscope
If the board does not balance properly, the gyroscope inside the board could be damaged and would need to be replaced. Here is a guide on how to replace the gyroscope.
SwagTron is Slow
No matter how hard you try to speed up… your swagtron…. Goes at the pace of a turtle….
Learning Mode
The SwagTron has a “learning mode” to help beginners get used to using it before going at higher speeds. You can switch from the learning mode to performance mode by first turning your SwagTron off. Then press the power button 1 time to turn it on and then press it again 1 second later to switch modes. You should hear a longer beep on the second press.

My brother got a swagtron kids hoverboard for christmas after 2 weeks everytime he turns it on it constantly beeps and has the red arrows blinking. I tried to re calibrate it many times and it still wont stop blinking or beeping. Help please.

When its off make sure its level lined up hold power button for longer time say 30 sec..then push it again off.then turn on. it fixed mine..it was same thing red and green.glichin out…mines fixed..wooohooo

Whenever I get on my hoverboard ( swagtron t1), the right paddle always is leaning forward too much when I get on it, and it won’t work properly when I put my weight on the right paddle. It just goes crazy after that. Whenever I try to push the power button for 10 seconds to recalibrate, it just turns off. So how do you properly restart it or calibrate it?

I have a electric scooter - Swagtron 5, it was working fine for couple week when I brought it, charging the battery every night, but today suddenly it doesn’t work no more. So after reading reviews here I see most everyone has the same issue…beeping dead battery, only moments after full charge and power on. My daughters received one for Christmas, rode only inside for a total of (approximately) 10 hours total riding so far. With such little driving, and only being use indoors, this is WAY too soon to have such defects and issues.

Within 15 minutes of opening our brand new hover board, reading the manual, and taking one trip up and down the hallway, we cannot get it to stop beeping and the one side to stop flashing red! We have tried calibrating it, turning it to learning mode and every other troubleshooting technique to no avail! This is infuriating given the price point, The fact that this was my eight-year-old’s big birthday surprise given we cannot have a party during quarantine and now I have no way to fix it either! Got our hoverboard out of the box and charged it. I stood on it for a couple minutes before following the directions for calibration now one side blinks red and the other side blinks green. Only one of the 2 motors respond to pressure. Daughter didn’t even get to ride her Christmas present before it broke down.

I bought one for my grandson for Christmas - he loves it but it doesn’t work outside. Crazy as it sounds, it works fine in the house but when he takes it outside on the cement patio it does nothing. This is my second swagtron scooter.. my last one did not keep its charge as promised.. lasted half the time as sold.. now I got another one thinking that it will work now.. but I was wrong.. I was riding with my kid, hit a couple of bumps, and once again I’m that person trying to push an electric scooter home.. not awesome. I have a Swagtron hoverboard and I really like it, except for the fact that it doesn’t always work. My hoverboard works perfectly indoors and out of the sun, but as soon as I ride it in the sun I loose control of it (I know it sounds weird) and the handles don’t match up with the wheels.
