Apps will not respond to touch from either a finger or stylus.

For the phone to become responsive again, a restart may be necessary. Perform this by holding the power button for 5 - 8 seconds. The phone should cycle off then on. If the phone is now working properly you have fixed the issue.

In some cases an unresponsive screen may be simply because the battery is too low. Plug in the phone and allow it to charge for 30 minutes before using it again.

If it appears that the screen is covered in black dots that cannot be removed with a microfiber cloth, or the screen itself is cracked, the entire LCD Screen assembly may need to be replaced.

When a photo is taken using either the rear camera or front-facing camera, they come out either not focused or blacked out.

The issue may be that the camera lens is dirty. Take a microfiber clothe or similar soft clothe and gently rub the lens with a circular motion. After, try to take another picture with the camera. If the image looks good the issue has been resolved. If the image still looks blurry then try the next step in this guide.

If the main camera lens looks cracked, or doesn't take pictures at all, the main camera assembly may need to be replaced.

If the front-facing camera lens looks cracked, or doesn't take pictures at all, the front-facing camera assembly may need to be replaced.

When trying to either increase or decrease the volume it doesn’t change.

If when pressing down on the volume button it doesn't move, the button itself may need to be replaced.

If the volume button does move when pressed but doesn't change the volume, the motherboard may need to be replaced.

When turning on the phone it doesn’t finish starting up.

If when turning on the phone it never stops loading, first try a reset. To perform a reset, remove the cover on the back of the phone, exposing the battery. Next, remove the battery and re-insert it and attempt to restart it. WARNING: If performing a factory reset all data on the phone will be lost.

If neither a reset nor a factory reset work, the motherboard assembly may need to be replaced.
