Roku Streaming Stick Troubleshooting

My streaming stick used to work fine and works fine once connection is established. But it takes almost 10 minutes to establish a connection to the wireless router. Any suggestions?

i have problems playing games on my roku stick the button rolls at the bottom are to close together, and i keep missing the OK button and ruining my games, then i have to start over from the beginning. i want to upgrade but this poses as a problem. can’t you design a stick that have more space between the bottom rolls. thank you

I replaced the batteries I pushed the button in the back I restarted the streaming stick my remote is just not working

my roku stick worked perfect then froze and wont get past the boot screen.

First Roku, sad to say. This Streaming Stick Plus is a complete piece of garbage. Drops out and freezes all the time. Also frequently overheats in a 70 degree room suspended in air away from the TV. I hate this thing. Going to see if they'll honor the warranty but let me get a different model.

I have two sticks and both suddenly would not connect, reset units but still wouldn’t connect. Strong WIFI signal and 85 mb throughput. Replaced with an existing express unit that connected immediately and is working as intended. Both sticks have been in service less than 1 year and sw versions are to date.

Anyone with similar experience

Our Roku drops out for no reason. This is a new problem in the last 4-6 weeks to the point we cannot watch anything but local TV via our roof antenna. When Roku does come back on it is to the Home page and we have to go the guide and re-select the program we were watching.

We have good internet signal and we also shut-off all other WiFi devices including our cellphones to watch Roku…..

Any suggestions to over come this?

My roku device starts up, then shuts off. It displays ‘Roku ‘ than screen goes black. I tried resetting the back of device but nothing seems to work.

My Roku stick remote eats batteries faster than any remote I've ever owned. They even replaced it. 30 days is the maximum life on Duracell Quantum.

Also every day and often twice daily I have to unplug and replug the power cord to the Roku stick. I'm extremely unhappy with Roku.

So first time user. I'm gonna take it back to the store cause I can't get any fix to work. I've checked all the online sources and no one seems to have the same issue as me. Streaming stick+: It has power flashing white light. I have a cheap TV with a box so the stick doesn't fit directly into the TV hdmi slot so I ordered the free extender. Waited for that to come in. Plug it in. Nothing! Flashing but Nothing on screen. Tried hitting power. Still nothing. Little light on stick flashes letting me know it is connected to the remote. Tried the other hdmi ports and a computer monitor with HDMI it comes up for a second and black screens. Wtf is with this &&^&^$^ product. Do I need the newest most expensive TV just to watch TV in my room? My dads got a nice roku smart TV downstairs works fine. I dont get these fixes that you have to follow menus "What Menus!?!? All I see is black!!

My Roku stick has been working fine. But lately I go to turn the Roku on and the purple screen pops up that says Roku then it shuts off. How do I fix this?

I was streaming fine and then all of a sudden I got ‘no signal’. This wasn’t like a lost connection to my network, it was no signal from the device itself. I unplugged and replugged the stick and the power source, I tried a separate hdmi input, I turned off the tv and unplugged and disconnected the stick, none of the troubleshooting advice worked. I’ve had my stick about 4 years. Do they just go bad?

My Roku stick was working fine in the evening, but produced no signal hours later in the morning. I tried a new usb power cable, I tried resetting the remote, I changed the batteries, I plugged it into a different tv/monitor… nothing is working. Any other suggestions of what I can try or what may be wrong??

My Roku streaming stick has a voice speaking numbers about every 15 seconds during mlb broadcasts interrupting the game cast. It is the same voice that announces the sign on of regular shows,

Because quality control is an unknown concept in China…must of lot of Roku products are defective at best.

I suggest you get a sledge hammer…put the Roku on the side walk and smack it….its never going to work anyway

Reboots on it's own. Low power with usb but is plugged into outlet. Roku sending me a 3rd replacement!

Lets just admit the obvious…Poorly Designed..No quality control at Chinese Factory….pure unadulterated Chinese garbage.

I have an older Roku Streaming Stick..maybe Gen 1/2. No remote. Home screen loads, but won't connect to wifi or virtual remote on phone(Android) or remote for my new Roku express. Reset router and stick 4x. Ideas?

Streaming stick quit so ordered new and connected ONLY the old stick to the new components and did not work Then used the old power cord with new stick and that does work as well as the old remote so only Roku stick failed. This at a summer residence without power over the winter - not working in spring?? Probably nothing to do with it.
