Headphones aren't Recognized by Other Devices
Your Razer Kraken Ultimate is plugged in but your computer is not recognizing it.
If your Razer Kraken Ultimate headset is not being recognized when plugged in to your computer or laptop, here are some potential solutions.
Razer Synapse Out of Date

- Expand the system tray by clicking on the arrow found on the lower-right side of your desktop.
- Right-click on the Razer Synapse icon.
- Select “Check for Update” from the menu.
- Click “CHECK FOR UPDATES”.
- If there is a new update, click “UPDATE” to install.
Razer Synapse is Malfunctioning
It is possible that your device is not being recognized by Razer Synapse, the hub for all Razer brand computer products. If this is the case, here is a guide to restart Razer Synapse so it will be able to detect your device.
- Ensure that your Razer Synapse is the correct version for your Razer Kraken Ultimate, it should be Synapse 3.0.

Loose Headband Adjustment Piece
Headband not adjusting to fit your head.
The headband adjustment piece itself is broken
Examine the believed damage, and assess the extent of repair that will be needed. If damage is minimal, a small amount of glue should repair cracks in the adjustment piece. If the adjustment piece is completely destroyed, but still salvageable, clear tape can bind the broken pieces together, allowing you to reconnect the piece to the headband.
The adhesive connecting the headband to the adjustment piece has worn off
Attempt to re-adhere the adjustment piece to the headband, using what is left of the adhesive. If you are unable to do so, a small amount of glue can easily replace the adhesive originally used on the headband. You mustn't use super glue, as it will render the adjustment piece unable to move up and down the headband.
The adjustment piece cannot move
If you find that the headband adjustment piece is unable to move, the adhesive is most likely defective. Procure a thin, preferably bladed object, such as a box cutter or a paper clip; Attempt to loosen the space between the adjustment piece and the headband. If unintentional damage arises as a result of this procedure, see "The headband adjustment piece itself is broken".
