Bluetooth Connection Problems
The device is not connecting to the speaker
Cannot Find The Speaker On Your Device
Check to make sure the speaker is on and is within a 30 feet of your device. It is possible another device is connected; ensure all other previously connected devices have been disconnected. Restart the speaker by pressing the power button to turn it off, then again to turn it back on. Do the same with the bluetooth feature on your device. If the problem persists, reset the device by pressing the reset button and reconnect or delete the speaker from the device and research for it again.
Device Not Connecting
Check if the speaker is on and the right device name is selected. If both are correct, try rebooting the device. It is possible other devices are causing interference, shut off surrounding bluetooth devices. If the problem persists, reset the device by pressing the reset button and reconnect or delete the speaker from the device and search for it again.
Low Voice Or Distortion
Keep changing volume on device and the volume stays low
Battery May Be Low
Recharge the speaker by plugging it into the power adapter. It is recommended to use the speaker's original charging cable.
Device Problem
Low volume usually results from a change of the phone or device's settings . Check the volume settings on the device. If all volumes are turned up, try to pair with a different device to check if its a speaker issue. If the problem persists, reset the device by pressing and holding the reset button located next to the charging socket with a small pin and reconnect.
Dirt Build Up
You may need to clean the speaker from the inside. View the Omaker M4 Front Case Replacement guide for details on how to remove the front cover. Use a dry cloth and carefully wipe the cone. Use a wet wipe to clean the interior side of the front cover.
Music Breaking Off
The music constantly cuts out every minute for about a second
Connection Distance
You will realize the music will start cutting off when you separate your smart phone or device from the speaker for a distance of 9 to 10 meters . Ensure that the speaker is no more than 30 feet (9 meters) away from the source. Ensure there are no obstacles (e.g wall) between the speaker and the source.
Motherboard Connections
Wire connections of the speaker connected to the motherboard might be loose inside the device from dropping the device. In this case, follow the Omaker M4 Back Case Replacement guide to disassemble the speaker.
Blue Light Does Not light Up
The device is playing music but the light will not stay on
Battery Low
Recharge and try again after a full charge. If the problem persists, reboot the device by turning it off and on. Otherwise, you may need reset the device by holding the reset button for a couple of seconds.
Light Bulb Does Not Work
If the Bluetooth light does not light up, you might have moved the light source from the inside due to an impact or you have blocked the light path when removing the motherboard. In this case, you need to follow the Omaker M4 Motherboard Replacement guide to disassemble the speaker and put the light source back in place.
Connection Distance Getting Shorter
The connection distance is not as far as stated on the box
Battery May Be Low
Plug the speaker into the power adapter and try again after a full charge. It is recommended to use the speaker's original charging cable and make sure it is working by testing it on other devices.
Device Issue
Trying pairing with a different device. Ensure that the speaker is no more than 30 feet (9 meters) away from the source.
Interference
Ensure there are no obstacles between the speaker and the source. Obstacles reduce connectivity distance drastically. Test the Bluetooth range in an open environment without interference.
Speaker Won’t Charge
Speaker would not charge after connecting it to power adapter
Charging Cable Problem
Make sure you are using the cable that came with the device. If you are and it is still not charging, try using a similar Micro-USB cable. You can check if the cable is working by connecting it to another device with a similar charging socket.
Speaker Charging Socket
If water gets into the device, it will lead to damaging the socket port and this causes problems in the motherboard. In this case, you can remove the motherboard by following the Omaker M4 Motherboard Replacement guide and try drying it with warm air (hot air might damage the components on the motherboard) , if it is still not working or if it is not the case, then you need to replace the motherboard or buy a new speaker.

I’ve had mine 4 or 5 years now, and it just started doing that same exact thing to me this week. Did you or anyone else find a solution for this? So far I’m just trying to let it die and see if that helps any, hitting that reset button did nothing for me.

I am sure the micro usb charging port is not durable…….mine has the same issue, no way to fix it unless you diy welding another new usb port on the pcb. I REALLY LOVE THIS SPEAKER SOUND. sad.

Welding? I’m sure you mean soldering!

Upgraded iPhone to 8 and 10 and now not discoverable on Bluetooth?

Bondic is the answer to welding/soldering issues. Awesome product, uses UV LED light to activate. Mess few, unlike super glue, headless unlike soldering. Unfortunately, I don't know what the prob is with my speaker but thought I'd drop this info.

I've had my speaker for At Least 5 years, no problems, couldn't be happier until this week. I keep hearing a multiple beep notification sound. I think only the red light is on. It seems to not hold a charge because it is currently plugged I, as it is at work when I hear this sound. At work it's USB charging, here electrical. I might cry if I can't figure this out. Especially since it seems like the manufacturing of this speaker has declined if you are all having issues after just a few months. I love this speaker. I don't want another one! Ideas???

In charging, my speaker now beeps twice intermittently through the first five minutes of the charge. It never has done that before. Whats that signal?
