Phone will not turn on
Problems with battery
Confirm that the battery for the Nokia 6030 is fully charged, then attempt to turn the device on. If the problem persists, try replacing it with a new battery. When rechargeable batteries are used for an extensive period of time, they lose their ability to hold charge. If the device still does not turn on after the battery replacement then there may be a problem with the charger connector, logic board, or power button.

Cracked or damaged screen
First you must determine if the glass or LCD display is broken. Follow our guide to determine this remove the front cover and replace if necessary. If the glass needs to be replaced you can follow this guide and stop there. However, if their appears to be damage to the LCD display as well you may need to replace it too. It might be a good idea to reassemble your phone and try to turn it on. If the screen stays blank, or is distorted then follow our guide to replace the LCD.
Phone displays an error message regarding the SIM Card
Begin by removing the SIM card.
SIM Card is dirty
Remove the SIM card and verify it is clean. If the metal contacts appear to be dirty, gently clean them with a soft rag and reinstall the card and battery and reassemble phone. Try turning on your phone again.
SIM Card is cracked
If your SIM Card is cracked, go to you service provider's store and ask for a replacement.
Callers cannot hear you
Confirm the phone is not on mute. If not, verify the microphone is clean, unblocked, and securely attached to the logic board. If the problems persist replace the microphone.
Phone won't charge
AC Adapter Issues
Securely connect the phone to the charger and check to make sure the charger is properly plugged into a working outlet. If the problem persists a new charger might be needed. Try to borrow another adapter. If the phone will charge with another adapter, but not your own adapter, then replace your adapter.

Problems with antenna
Try doing a soft reset of the phone. Turn the phone off, wait a few seconds and then turn it back on again. If this does not help you may have a damaged antenna or logic board. Try to send a text message. If you are unable to send a text message or receive calls you may need to replace the antenna. Additionally if you are not getting cell signal in an area that you now should have signal you may need to replace the antenna. First check that the antenna is firmly attached to the logic board. If the above does not work you may need to antenna.
Problems with logic board
If the above does not work, there may be a problem with the logic board.
One or more of the keys is stuck or broken
First disassemble the phone and gently clean the keys as well as the keypad contacts. Reassemble the phone and check if the key works. If not replace the keypad.
