Nest Cam Troubleshooting

My Nest cam is not playing back video. I've tried rebooting it. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My nest camera when turned completely off yet is still plugged into wall outlet show a blue light blinking from time to time. Only my husband and i have a password. Am i hacked?

My nest camera does not work half the time it says it’s offline but in realty it is not.Time to try another product!

My outdoor Nest cam lost the wi-fi signal. I have to rescan it or put in the numbers on the camera, but its 3am and the cameras are out of reach. What a pain

I get a c224 error and have reset the nest camera and removed it from my account. I have reset my house network. Everything else works fine and is connected this one camera just will not connect to WiFi anymore. Help.

Nest cams are overrated. I have 4 nest IQ outdoor cans along with the Nest Hello, and they only catch about 50% of the events they should. The playback has a problem displaying video because only still shots are displayed. It takes several tries, rebooting, etc., to get video to play and that does not always work. When working properly they are awesome and video quality is great. I have no idea why they don’t record so many events, even people clearly in range…..basic problems are missing significant number of events and playback. They are very expensive !!

2 out side cameras and door bell will not work keeps telling me to try again later went through dish net work and thay installed them called them said they don’t work on them went to nest thay couldn’t help us I guess my next stop is county attorney got over a $1000 in them and extenders

Only getting 1 way audio on both cameras ? I can hear but cant speak though them. Any easy fix. Thanks in advance

nest picture has two fuzzy, foggy spots that are not resolved with cleaning.

I see the video but at times the sounds goes off and stays off a while then comes back on. How do I fix it so I can listen all the time

My Nest Aware is not working. It will not connect to Wi-fi and I have tried every recommendation provided by Google Support including turning off the power supply and rebooting the camera. I have not been able to connect via telephone to Google. All communication has been through Facebook messenger and that within itself is frustrating. The doorbell camera worked great for approximately 12 months and one morning I received an alert that the camera went offline and from that day we have not been able to get it set up again. So disappointing as we paid for the camera and another $100+ to have the camera professionally installed.

My Nest Indoor camera is no longer powering on. Started with issues staying online, have had it unplugged for approximately a week, and now it will not power on at all, Have have tried different cords and outlets, and still no results.

My nest outdoor iq cam was working fine along with the other camera on the network. It stopped and won’t connect. It’s still powered so I did the reset and removed it from the app as they suggest. When I try to add it back, it’s not found. I tried leaving it unplugged for an hour, reset my modem and I’m at a loss as to what to do next. Thanks.

My newly installed nest cam often gives me notifications about movement, but when a person comes in view, enters the front door, no notification. I can see that I will have to trim all branches within sight of the camera, but I got the nest cam so I would be notified about people.

I can’t unplug my Nest cam without tearing apart a cabinet that was built to house it and some other equipment in the top cabinet of our newly remodeled kitchen. It’s ridiculous that the camera keeps powering off and won’t simply power up again once power is restored without having to physically unplug it (in fact, it has to be unplugged at the usb plug by the power convertor). Never had these issues with my former Nest products. Since Google took charge, the products and software have gone to crap.

2 of my exterior hard wired cameras don’t work no lights nothing. I tried to unplug them reboot them nothing works. The first one quit about a year ago the other just stopped. A fine fine product (sarcasm)

We had an electric storm on Saturday and since then the cameras have been off. Today I tried to "remove" a camera and reinstall it. The camera did not respond, and I could not find the camera. It is almost like the camera is "dead". What else can I do?

I have two outdoor cameras and a doorbell camera. The doorbell camera works well as does the camera overlooking the back garden. The other camera is positioned on the garage fascia at the front of the house. The camera works perfectly during the day but at night it constantly triggers the lights which are positioned on the fascia of the garage which have a sensor that detects movement. I have to switch the camera off at night because it is like having Christmas lights that are constantly flashing. Any suggestions to solve my problem would be appreciated.

My google spotlight camera will not show up in my google app. I recently switched my Wi-Fi extender and set up the google mesh Wi-Fi for my wife cause she needed better internet speeds in our home office. Now that I did that I can’t get my google camera to show up in the google app. I have tried everything from disconnecting it and I deleted it out of my app now I can’t add it back. The wifi is so much better now. i don’t understand why I wouldn’t be able to see it in the google home app. I never connected the camera into the nest app and I no longer have the QR code
