No image appears on the monitor and the screen is blank, but the monitor appears to have power (it is glowing).

Check to see if the monitor is plugged into a computer, and make sure that the computer is turned on. If the computer is not turned on, the monitor will not display anything at all.

The picture appearing on the screen is not consistent, and may be wavy or distorted.

Check your video input cable on the back of the monitor. Disconnect and reconnect any cables and ensure that the cable is securely inserted into the monitor.

The colors being displayed on the monitor are not correct (i.e. Greens are appearing to be yellow or blues are appearing purple).

Try using a different monitor with the same VGA cable if you have one. If the DVI or VGA cable does not work with a monitor you are sure is functioning properly you may have a faulty cable. This is a common issue with VGA cables, and the only solution is to purchase a new cable.

Nothing appears on screen and the power indicator is not lit.

Ensure that the monitor is plugged into a power source and try pressing the power button on; the green power LED should turn on.

The monitor is turning on but the green indicator is not lighting up.

If the LED light is dead, it needs to be replaced.

The image appearing on the screen is not correctly fitted to the display. Black columns appear along the sides of the picture, or part of the picture is cut-off.

Go into your computer's resolution settings and set it to the recommended resolution of 1280 x 1024. Using Microsoft Windows software, select the start button and continue to the control panel. Under the "Appearance and Personalization" heading, select "Adjust screen resolution".

The monitor is not properly sliding, tilting, or rotating on the stand.

If it is not adjusting properly, some part of the stand is stuck. If it does not rotate, there may be something jammed in the bottom of the stand that needs to be removed.
