Phone will not turn on
You have problems with getting your phone to turn on.
Insufficient time pressing PWR button
Press and hold the "PWR" button to the count of ten or until the phone responds.
Drained battery
Plug the phone into its charger and hold the "PWR" button. If the phone responds, then it needs to be charged. Let it stay connected for an hour, then try to use it again.
Non-functional battery
If the phone shuts off when unplugged from a power source, yet it functions while connected, the battery might be dead. To replace the battery see the Battery Replacement Guide.
Faulty display
If both the front and inside displays are broken, the phone might still be functional without your knowledge. Try replacing the displays.
Non-functional logic board
The phone's logic board might be faulty. Try replacing the logic board using the Logic Board Replacement Guide.
Buttons do not respond
Any or all of your buttons won't work.
One or more non-functional buttons
If this is the case, but the phone still works otherwise, then the phone's button board needs to be replaced. You can follow the Keypad Repair Guide to help you do this.
Faulty keypad logic board
If none of the buttons work, yet you can still press them, the logic board might need to be replaced. For this, see Keypad Logic Board Repair Guide.
Speaker or microphone does not work
You are unable to hear the caller or they cannot hear you..
Call waiting is on
Press the green Send/Call call button to see if you accidentally put the caller on call waiting.
Faulty speaker or microphone
The speaker or microphone might need to be replaced. Try replacing the piece that is broken.
Non-functional logic board
If the above steps have not fixed the problem, the logic board needs to be replaced. Please follow our Logic Board Repair Guide.
Phone overheats
Your phone gets too hot while making a call.
Antenna is down during a call
Pull up your antenna when making calls. This will keep the phone cooler.

It is essentially impossible to take apart the top cover. This means the microphone and both displays are inaccessible under most circumstances. If they are broken, the easiest fix is to simply replace the phone.
