If the device does not turn on when you push the power button on the baby monitor, refer to this troubleshooting page for potential solutions.
The Power Button Is Dirty
If the power button is not responding, check to see if there is any debris present around the button area and clean it off. To clean the power button, use a microfiber towel or an alcohol wipe to wipe the areas around the power button, as well as the crevices of the button.
The Charger is Damaged
When the charger is plugged into the baby monitor, a blue light should be present at the top of the device. If this light isn't on, check to ensure the charger is intact and that the charger port isn't damaged. You'll need to replace the DC 5V/1A power adapter if it is damaged.
Device Needs a Reset
If all fails, restart the baby monitor. Sometimes, devices won't respond to the action you're trying to do because the device hasn't been restarted in a long time. Restarting a device makes sure that it has all of the most recent updates it needs to operate smoothly.
Battery Failure
If the device still doesn't power on, follow this guide to replace the battery.
Camera Malfunction
If the camera is broken or damaged, you will not see images on the screen. Follow the CamPark BM20 Camera Replacement guide to replace the camera of your device.
Screen is Broken
If you've tried everything else, including replacing the battery, the screen may have failed due to damage or age. Follow the CamPark BM20 Screen Replacement guide to replace the screen of the monitor.
