Clogged Water Tubes
Coffee maker water pipes can easily become clogged due to the accumulation of minerals and other impurities in the water. To clean your coffee maker and unclog the water pipes, follow these simple steps:
- Pour distilled white vinegar into the water tank up to the 2-cup level on the water window.
- Fill the rest of the tank with cold water.
- Place the filter in the brew basket.
- Close the cover.
- Set an empty carafe on the Keep Hot carafe plate.
- Turn on the coffee maker and wait until the water level in the tank goes down to the 3-cup level.
- Then turn off the coffee maker and wait for about 15 minutes.
- Turn the coffee maker back on and let it brew the rest of the cleaning solution into the carafe.
- Turn it back off, empty the carafe, and discard the filter.
- Fill the tank with cold water again up to the 5-cup line.
- Turn off the coffee maker.
- Brew out the water in the carafe.

Machine needs Cleaning
By following these simple steps, you can keep your coffee machine clean and in good working condition, ensuring that your morning cup of coffee clean and tastes as good as it should.
- First and foremost, ensure that the coffee machine is unplugged and has completely cooled down before cleaning it. This is a crucial safety measure that should not be overlooked.
- Open the lid of the coffee machine and remove the brew basket by lifting it straight up. Be careful as it may be hot.
- If you're using a paper filter, discard it from the filter basket. If you're using a permanent filter, remove it from the brew basket and discard any coffee grounds.
- The next step is to clean the various parts of the coffee machine. The brew basket, permanent filter (if using), carafe, and carafe lid can be washed in the dishwasher on the top rack, or they can be hand-washed with warm water and dish soap. If you're hand-washing the parts, use a soft sponge or cloth to avoid scratching them. Make sure to rinse them thoroughly with clean water and dry them off with a clean towel.
- To clean the inside of the one-piece cover, open the cover and wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth. Be sure to wipe down any visible coffee stains or spills. Once you're done, close the cover.
