Device will not turn on
The phone shows a black screen and will not show any signs of power.
Dead battery
Try charging the battery using the power adapter that came with the phone. If the phone is plugged into the adapter, and the adapter is plugged into a power outlet, but yet the device is still not working, you may need to purchase a new charging adapter.
Broken power button
If the power button is jammed and will not work, you may need to replace the button. Look up how to replace the button or take your phone to someone who knows how to fix the button.
Damaged battery
If the battery has suffered any kind of damage, i.e. water damage, heat damage, etc. follow the steps in the Battery Replacement guide that detail how to replace the battery.
Buttons stopped working
No matter how hard I press on the buttons, they are unresponsive.
Buttons jammed
If any of your buttons are jammed, try dabbing a small amount of rubbing alcohol onto a paper towel and wiping it along the edges of the buttons.
Buttons need to be replaced
If you have already tried to fix the buttons and they still are not responding, try replacing the buttons. Look up how to replace the buttons yourself, or take your phone to a professional who can replace the buttons.
Hardware issues
If you have tried everything and your buttons are still not working, it could be a hardware issue, which would mean the phone would need to be replaced.
Display is distorted
The screen on my phone is distorted and cracked, it is hard to see or use the screen.
Phone was dropped on a hard surface
If you dropped your phone on a hard surface and the display cracked or shattered, follow the steps in the Display Replacement guide.
Phone endured too much weight
If you accidentally sat on your phone, or put a heavy amount of weight on top of it and it damaged the screen, follow the Display Replacement guide.
Phone suffered from water damage
If your phone got wet, it is likely that more than just the display suffered from water damage. It may be best to replace the phone.
Speaker has no sound
I cannot hear anything when I make or receive calls.
Speaker acquired dust
Try blowing on the speaker to get any dust out.
Sound could be turned off
Check the settings on your phone to make sure the volume is turned up.
Phone suffered from water damage
If your phone suffered from water damage, the speaker could be damaged and need to be replaced. Research how to replace the speaker, or take the phone to a professional who can replace the speaker. If the new speaker does not work either, the phone will likely need to be replaced,
Phone frequently freezes
My phone freezes up all the time.
Phone storage could be full
Try deleting some apps and photos to make phone load faster.
Phone might need an update
Check in your settings to see if your phone is requesting any updates and if so, update it,
Phone could need to be rebooted
Try turning your phone off for a few moments and then turning it back on.
Sim card reader might need to be replaced.
If you have tried everything and your phone is still freezing, your sim card reader could be damaged and need to be replaced. Follow the Sim Card Replacement guide to replace it.

Hi there RECOVERY HELP NEEDED
Blackberry torch had many voice recordings from 2015 til now. The voice recordings have disappeared - the microsd card I thought they loaded to has nothing on it.
Help is needed for voice recordings to be retrieved- theyre of my mom and dad who are no longer living - very important info I’d like to retrieve and meetings telephone calls etc
Can someone help - please .
